it all started when i invited my neighbor, andy snyder to my birthday party 2 years ago and he gifted me one of his handmade mugs. i have been using it every morning for tea and have starting growing my MPP collection!
we had the pleasure of touring his studio where all the magic is made. i know nothing about pottery and it's so fun to learn a new artistic process. his colors are usually earthy tones with subtle pops of color, the textures natural that mimic bark, stones, brush strokes.
i thought it would be a delight to photograph a handful of some of his treasures! unwrapping each piece was like christmas morning - each so different and unique and all come with their homemade story.
if you are in vermont and able to track him down at art shows in the summer, do it! not only is his pottery a joy to browse, but he is one of my favorite people to chat with and i don't just say that because he is my neighbor!
